Spring 2025

Photo of a pink blossoming tree at the corner of two streets

Walking with my dog has become the ultimate test of my photographic abilities. Mabel does not understand why we must stop five or six times around the same tree. Mabel does not understand why we cannot just simply “move on” from a cool looking alleyway. Mabel only knows walk and sniff and pee.

And I love her for that.

I get only a few moments within each moment to see, compose, and execute a photo, and I’ve actually become quite good at getting semi-desirable results. With this method, none of my photos are perfect but they are pieces I am proud of nonetheless.
